# Armin Hajibeygi

## Summary

Armin studies what happens when AI moves beyond prediction and becomes part of real decision-making. His research asks how AI-enabled systems should be designed, evaluated, and governed so that greater capability also leads to more reliable and effective decisions.

He combines perspectives from artificial intelligence, operations research, information systems, and real-world technology building. Rather than studying an AI model in isolation, he looks at the larger system around it — including incentives, information, constraints, evaluation, human oversight, and organizational consequences.

Before his PhD, he worked on large-scale technology systems at Digikala and co-founded Goldscan, working across product, software, data, and engineering.
